Go Green NGO was founded after realizing the strong connection between deforestation and poverty, inspired by experiences of community work in the Philippines.
Our Story
Every journey has a story
Go Green NGO was founded with a simple but powerful realization: the fight against deforestation is deeply tied to the fight against poverty. During community work in the Philippines, we witnessed how deforestation not only stripped the land of its natural resources but also deprived families of their livelihoods, opportunities, and stability.
What began as an eye-opening experience soon transformed into a mission—to empower communities by protecting forests, restoring ecosystems, and creating sustainable sources of income. Go Green NGO was built on the belief that environmental justice and social justice go hand in hand.
Today, our work continues to be inspired by the resilience of those communities. Every project we undertake is a step toward greener forests, stronger communities, and a future where both people and nature thrive together.
